Your First Visit

What to Expect at Your First Appointment

  1.  Medical History

Your medical history and some basic background information will be gathered. This helps us to better understand the pain or discomfort you are experiencing.

  2.  Physical Examination

Next, your chiropractor will perform a physical examination. As the physical examination progresses your chiropractor may have additional questions about your symptoms.

  3.  Patient Consultation

Based on the physical examination findings and a review of your medical history, your chiropractor will work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan. Your chiropractor will carefully review every step of the plan with you and will answer any questions you may have.

  4.  Initiating Treatment

Based on your treatment plan, your chiropractor will perform one or more chiropractic techniques to help relieve your symptoms. Imaging tests — like X-rays or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans — may also be ordered to provide a clearer picture of your condition. You’ll have plenty of time to voice any questions or concerns you may have before you undergo treatment.

Before you leave, depending on the treatment plan, you may schedule future office visits. Our staff will also assist with scheduling imaging studies that have been ordered.
